Marble Stain Removal

Most stains on natural stone can be removed. The stain pictured below was caused by wood stain dust during construction. The dust had settled on the surface. A worker left his cold cup of soda on the top. The dust reacted with the water condensation and seeped into the surface which later dried.

A poultice was applied, and 24 hours later – Voila! – gone. No resurfacing was necessary for this particular stain. Though most times it is needed and should be performed by a qualified stone restoration company.
